Microfinance program and popular banking "Bankomunales" { 68 images } Created 18 Jun 2014

Lezama is a typical village of Venezuelan plains (Llanos). Its inhabitants are engaged in agriculture and their lifestyle is determined by its rural setting. This is where Total Oil Gas Venezuela promotes the development community to drive innovative microfinance program and popular banking "Bankomunales" In Venezuela Salomon Raydan, popular finance expert and president of the Foundation for Rural Finance (FUNDEFIR), applies the principles devised by Nobel Peace Prize 2007, Muhamead Yunnus but promote what Raydan have called "The Other Microfinance" based on self finance groups and not on the Banking model
